Hey I broke the forums again WEEEEE

Postby Kerzan » Mon Apr 20, 2009 7:39 pm

So as you all probably noticed I ended up breaking the forums again. Seeing as the past few days had been somewhat shitty I gave up on fixing them till I got home today. Well as you can see that actually worked out fairly well took a few hours but I got this beast up and running again and in perfect condition. Also I added a mod to the captcha that is supposed to keep the spammers away once again. If this one doesn't work I have another ready to try.

For those who wish to keep tabs on how I messed the forums up again I will attempt to explain. As you know we have been getting attacked by spammers. I went and grabbed a mod that is supposed to help. While grabbing that mod I found others I wished to install for my own person admin purposes. One is a mod to check if mods are up-to-date. I installed these mods with no problems. The mod to see if other mods were up-to-date told me the portal was a version behind. This is when shit hit the fan and the site broke. I am starting to think that the install of the new portal version actually had found an underlying problem created while installing the other mods and made the site no worky no more.

In short everything works and is running smooth so enjoy.
