Oh, and http://www.giantbomb.com/quick-look-new-super-mario-bros/17-1633/. I'm pretty sure this would be friendly by our standards. Who remembers Gauntlet?

When we move to our new place, definitely. We have a Wii here, but it's just hooked up in the living room. Kinda weird playing out there.

From what I've heard, even single-player is a lot of fun, just in a more classic Mario kind of way. But multi-player Mario? Yes please.

When Monster Hunter Tri comes out and I get a Wii this might go on my list of "Other Wii games to get when I feel like spending more money on the Wii"

Alright, so I picked it up, and we had some time to play it. Sheer craziness. It's a game type that was designed for single-player, but adapted to multiplayer. We had three of us playing it, and it really is a lot like Gauntlet in how it handles multiple people. While the power-up boxes will spit out enough items for everyone, you can be a dick and take em all if you want. Or, as happened more often, you can accidentally be standing in the wrong spot and they all fall on you. Areas that require precision and timing are hilarious in multiplayer. More often than not, one of us would just run and jump ahead, and the other people would just die and float back after the troublesome area. You really need to coordinate efforts, or else you end up stomping someone mid-jump.

Sounds interesting... but the only Wii game I care about is Tri. Most likely scenario is one of us (prolly Mentoc... well Kerz will prolly get it as well) will get the game and just bring whenever we want to play it. It's kinda sad but the game I'm pretty sure I will be picking is Twilight Princess whic is an older title but one of the few games I actually want to play/own. And maybe the next smash bros

I already own the new Mario but haven't played it yet. I mean honestly Assassins Creed or Mario which would you pick?
